Nipto in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Le Chat
Connect Nipto to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Le Chat, then ask what is left to do, who leads the race, log a task or plan a reminder just by chatting.
Your AI assistant can follow the chores of your tribe and do some for you. Ask what is left to do today, who leads the weekly race, tell it that you did the dishes with Léo, or ask it to remind Camille to take out the trash every Tuesday. It works with the assistants that accept connectors: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Le Chat.
Before you start
- Your tribe needs Nipto Premium. One purchase covers everyone, and every member can connect their own assistant.
- Sign in with the same account as in the Nipto app. The assistant then acts as you, in your current tribe.
- Each member can make up to 2,000 requests a day through assistants and the API together, far more than a conversation needs.
What you can ask
| Ask your assistant | What Nipto does |
|---|---|
| “What is left to do today?” | Lists the tasks due today or late, for you or the whole tribe, and what was already done. |
| “Which tasks do we have?” | Lists the tasks of the tribe and the eggs each one is worth. |
| “Who is winning this week?” | Shows the race: eggs, levels (Nipti, Niptodon, Niptorex) and streaks of every member. |
| “What did we do this week?” | Lists the activities of a week, member by member. |
| “What is planned for the weekend?” | Reads the Planning: reminders, who they are for, and when. |
| “How many gems do I have?” | Shows the gems of each member, the rewards of the shop and the last purchases. |
| “I did the dishes with Léo” | Logs the task for both of you, as when you tick it in the app. |
| “Remind Camille to take out the trash every Tuesday” | Adds a reminder to the Planning, once or repeating. |
| “Remove the vacuuming I logged by mistake” | Deletes an activity of this week. |
Most assistants ask you to confirm before they log, plan or delete something. Buying rewards and changing settings stay in the app.
Connect ChatGPT
- On a computer, open chatgpt.com/plugins.
- Select +, then Add custom MCP server.
- Name it Nipto, add a short description, and under Connection enter
https://nipto.app/mcp. - Keep the sign-in with OAuth, confirm the warning with I understand and want to continue, then select Create as a plugin.
- Install the plugin, sign in to Nipto and select Allow (see Signing in).
- In a new conversation, type @ and pick Nipto.
Connect Claude
- In Claude on the web or the desktop app, go to Customize, then Connectors.
- Select + Add, then Add custom connector.
- Name it Nipto, enter
https://nipto.app/mcpand select Continue. - Keep the suggested choices (Sign in now and the recommended OAuth client), then select Add.
- Sign in to Nipto and select Allow (see Signing in).
- In a conversation, open +, then Connectors, and turn Nipto on. Once added, it is also available in the Claude mobile apps.
Connect Gemini
- On a computer, open gemini.google.com, then Settings and Connected Apps.
- Under Custom apps, select Add a custom app.
- Enter
https://nipto.app/mcp, select Next and follow the steps: sign in to Nipto and select Allow. - In a conversation, type @ and pick Nipto. It works in the Gemini mobile app too.
Connect Le Chat by Mistral
- In Le Chat, open Connectors from the side menu.
- Select + Add Connector, then the Custom MCP Connector tab.
- Name it Nipto (no spaces) and enter
https://nipto.app/mcpas the server URL. - Select Connect, sign in to Nipto and select Allow.
- Nipto is then available in your conversations. Under My Connectors, you can let it act without asking each time.
Signing in
When the assistant connects, a Nipto page opens. Sign in with Google or with a code sent by e-mail, using the account of your tribe. The page then shows:
- Who asks: the name of the assistant. A green check means Nipto verified its domain, like chatgpt.com. Unverified means the name comes from the assistant itself, which is normal for some of them: check the address it sends you back to.
- Where you go back: the address of the assistant, like claude.ai or chat.mistral.ai. If it is a program on your own computer, Nipto warns you.
- Your account and tribe, with Switch to use another account.
- What it will be able to do: see the tribe, log tasks, plan reminders and delete activities.
Select Allow to finish, or Cancel to go back without connecting.
Privacy and control
- The assistant sees what members of your tribe see in the app: tasks, Planning, activities, eggs, levels, streaks, gems and rewards, with the names of the members. It never sees e-mail addresses, payment details or how you sign in.
- It acts as you, with your rights in the tribe. If you are under parental control, the tasks it logs wait for an admin, as in the app.
- Nipto only answers what the assistant asks. What you write in the conversation stays with the company of the assistant, under its own privacy policy.
- The assistant never gets your Nipto account: it gets a key that only works with Nipto, lasts one hour and is renewed while the connection is on.
Disconnect an assistant
- In the Nipto app, go to Settings, then Integrations, then Connected assistants.
- Select the trash icon next to the assistant, then Disconnect.
It loses access right away. Admins of the tribe also see and can disconnect the assistants of the other members. Removing Nipto from the assistant is fine too, but disconnecting it in Nipto is the way to be sure.
Troubleshooting
| What you see | What to do |
|---|---|
| The Nipto page says Premium only | Your tribe needs Premium. It is bought in the Nipto app on iPhone or Android. Then connect again. |
| This link expired | Sign-in links last 30 minutes. Go back to the assistant and connect Nipto again. |
| The assistant cannot reach Nipto, or the authorization failed | Check the address: exactly https://nipto.app/mcp, without spaces or a slash at the end. Remove Nipto from the assistant and add it again. |
| It acts as the wrong person | Disconnect it in Nipto, connect again, and use Switch on the Nipto page to pick the right account. |
| It talks about another tribe | The assistant follows your current tribe. Change it in the Nipto app. |
| It worked, then stopped | An assistant unused for 90 days has to connect again. When Premium ends, assistants keep working for 7 days, then stop until Premium is back. |
| Too many requests | A member can make 2,000 requests a day. It starts again at midnight UTC. |
For advanced users: the API token
Tools that let you set a header instead of signing in, such as coding assistants or your own scripts, can use your Nipto API token with https://nipto.app/mcp: send it in the Authorization header as Bearer YOUR_TOKEN. See Authentication to get it. It has the same access as an assistant connected with your account.
